Really just personal preference sir. I have an AMS can and like it, it works fine but I paid a good chunk of money for mine. I see them on ebay for pretty cheap. Old saying goes, "You get what you pay for!" but in this circumstance, most cans are pretty much the same.

I'd say its more then just personal preference. I wouldn't touch the cheap eBay ones. But there are several good ones out there and like Blackss said, you get what you pay for. I bought an Elite Engineering catch can. I can't say if its the best, but it does work, looks nice, and has a specific LS1 bracket. And it was expensive. Here's some pics of it mounted up and the oil it caught in about 5000 miles.

I got the one from the WS6 store and I have no complaints. It also looks and works great.

There have been several on this site now that have made their own for under $20 and they seem to work just as good as the one's costing $300+. Only downfall I'm seeing with it is it doesn't look pretty. They look like they are serving the purpose just fine though.

I 100% agree with 35th statement! Seen cheap ones work good but don't look good, thats why I said preference. No reason to spend $100's of dollars in my honest opinion but its just that......an opinion.

I agree it is personal preference between the ones that work. Some of the cheaper cans are just an empty can. Those won't work as well as a can with some sort of filter media. Between the ones with a filter media, there may be some with a better functional design then others, but they're probably all about the same.

I have ablue anodized one from Catch cans.com.... and will sell it cheap. It's in good shape, I am just now converting over to the LS6 PCV system and don't need it anymore. PM me if interested. You'd have to do your own tubing, but the can and mount are fine aside from maybe a few little scratches. Was on car for maybe 10k miles. I'd say it's yours for $65 shipped.
