    Where to buy stainless headers

    Everytime I look for stainless pacesetter long tubes theres only the: painted, armor coated, or jet hot coated ones. Are the armor coated stainless? where can I get a set?

    Stainless works makes a set and I think FLP makes a set. No the ones that say they are plated or coated are not stainless. Typically stainless headers will run around 800 or so depending on the company and if you get the y-pipe to go with it.

    The reason you can't find them is because Pacesetter doesn't make stainless headers. And no, they aren't coated and stainless.

    Kooks and QTP comes to mind when looking for stainless LT's.

    as said, pacesetter doesn't use stainless steel to make their headers. a company called stainless works does, along with QTP and Kooks.

    I have SS Autochrome full stainless headers. They fit perfectly, didn't have to remove anything besides dipstick and plug wires, they just tucked right up. I was very impressed with the quality.
