What would you need a breaker bar for????

Dont forget the 10mm socket to get the coil packs off. Spark plug socket, and an 11mm socket to get the steering shaft off as well.

wtf...why would you need to take the steering shaft out? I can understand the coil packs (I still don't think you need to), but why the steering shaft?

I've never had to take the steering shaft apart....except on a GTO.

easier to slide the Lt's in from the top if you take the steering shaft out.....ever put a set of Lt's on a car? They dont just magicly appear in there. With my hookers, I had to take a motor mount bolt out and jack the motor up a bit to get them in there......

take the motor mount bolt out, and jack the motor up a little bit....may have to take the motor mount off the block as well.

it's a pain but it'll go....just keep trying different angles and not sure if you're on stands or a lift but if you're on stands the car has to be extremely high to get the angle for it to slide up in there.

its have the car up as far as i need and tryed all the angles i could. i tryed for over an hour. i think if i would of got the 1 3/4 instead of the 1 7/8 it would have gone in by now. im going to try the moter mount next.
