    What style Hooker Header?

Im goin nuts tryin to figure out which is new which is old , comp vs super comp etc. I decided and went to order a set and was told they dont make the 2253HKR anymore they were replaced by the 2468HKR. Can anyone fill me in which is new or old and what does everyone else use?

That would be the one on the left . Do they fit good and tuck up nice and did you use the hooker ory? How do they compare to what you were using?

The one on the left. This is good to hear because I thought everyone used the one on the right the 2253. Hows the fit-finish-ground clearance and if you know performance. Did these replace your stockers?

Ya they tuck up nice. they still hang down and you can see the ypipe from the side but they arent much lower than stock. ya i got the ory. they are alot better than what was on it considering it was stock.

which ever ones dont have egr and bigger primary arent nessicarily better cause you want good volicity flow and the bigger primary dont alway mean that. I would honestly call Hooker and tell them what application you are running and ask them what you should run....

Primaries are the same so that doesnt matter and I tried getting advice from Hooker tech support. Their tech guy was no help and couldnt even tell me the tube or collector length of his own headers.

Well that guy is a dumb ass then and should be fired... Check to see if summit carries them? honestly egr is a waste of time, and I would just make sure of ground clearance issues.... can't believe that about Hooker they have as been awesome when I called

The ones on the left look like they're not for F body. Maybe C5, GTO, Cobra or something. Hookers for F Body look like the right.

    hooker in the trunk

i have the one on the left, theyre comps, i heard the super comps dont fit as well. they hang down a bit along with the ory, but im always bottoming out my slp muffler instead of the headers. but my car is also lowered about 2 in. very happy with the fit.

Awesome they are the ones I settled on (in spite of the idiot at customer service) Since the supercomps are so copied I thought most people had them. From this post it appears the comps are fairly popular and apparently fit good.

    2468-2HKR FTW
