    What is "Full Bolt-Ons"

    I've seen many people mention that their cars have full bolt-ons, or that a full bolt-ons ls1 could hang with the new 5.0 GT. I'm pretty much bone stock and want to make my 98 z28 M6 camaro a full bolt-ons ls1. So, what is everything i need to buy to do so? LT's, ORY, Cat-Back, Air Lid, CAI...What else?

    Everything you mentioned is a good start. Plus a high flowing intake and throttle body. Upgrading to a LS6 intake and ported throttle body would be a cheaper route or you could go with a FAST intake and tb combo. Also a tune would be good when you get everything on. I just got a mail order tune from tunedbyfrost.com and installed my LT's and ORY this weekend and am very happy with the results. If you go with the ORY get the race style headers and get rid of the air pump, engine bay looks so much cleaner without it.

    Hahaha,,,that's a good one Luos.

    Bolt on's mean different things to different people. Basically my idea is anything that is easily bolted on the outside of the engine that adds power. Nothing internal.

    The simple things you mentioned like headers, exhaust, intake mods etc...would all qualify.

    When things get more involved like camshaft swaps, heads, gears, converters etc....you are past the bolt on stage as far as I'm concerned.

    So the term has gotten somewhat vague anymore. Someone says bolt ons and you just never know what they might be talking about,,,,,like Mr. Luos up there

    That aint no "bolt on" Curtis, that's Godzilla taking Tokyo..

    But yes OP "bolt on" mostly means external add ons or mods that don't require tearing into your engine internals..

    Underdrive pulleys increases the torque and horsepower output of an engine by reducing parasitic drag caused by belt-driven accessories.

    Does'nt this cause alt charge issues in "around town" driving because the alt does'nt spin fast enough to charge @ low rpm? Just asking..

    You asked a good question.
    They do slow down the overall speed the crank spins the accessories. Could be a problem on a car that is a daily driver, but I have driven mine 100 miles in a day without issue.
