what do you think about borla with my setup

With lt headers, ory and borla catback which will be replacing my flowmaster. After reserching for about a week and a half for a new catback ive decided borla. What do you guys think about borla and will it give me more hp than my flowmaster when I switch them out or will it be the same.

Flowmaster sounds real nice, but the issue is flow. It doesnt flow as well as other systems

if you don't mind alot of interior resonance, then it'll be a good choice. i used to have the borla on the wife's car. when the headers went on and cats came off, it got rediculous inside the car. i switched to the bassani tru-duals. they dropped the interior noise back down to a reasonable level. plus i got 15 rwhp more out of it as well. here's the dyno graph.

That's my set up. Lts, ory, and Borla. I had a Flowmaster before and the Borla sounds 10X better. I run it wide open all the time. Definately turns heads over 2,500. I've closed it up a few times before and it's almost quiet as stock. You can't be dissapointed.

What exactly do you mean wide open and closed it a few times how do you do this and is it hard? Sorry for my ignorance.

borla is an adjustable exhaust system. It comes with 4 different sized plates - 3 with different sized holes and 1 solid sheet of metal. You can unbolt the passenger side pipe and put in a plate. So then less air comes out the passenger pipe and more goes throught the muffler.

advantage is its cool. With LT's ory and borla your car will be damn loud. If you get sick of it screaming so loud all the time you can put in one of the plates and quiet it down significantly. Each plate has its own volume level so you can find the one that you like the most.

The Flowmaster 40 will not have a big disadvantage.
