    The BBK is $499 at new era now. It looks cool but its more than double the weight of the ls1/ls6 which kind of bothers me more than the heat soak.

    Yup, check the edit in my quote... Yeah Iím not a big fan of the weight difference either but I feel that for my application the plusses outweigh the minuses.

    You can always lose the 10-15 extra pounds somewhere else. Besides unless you are seriously trying to cut every hundredth of a second off of your time, that little bit won't really hurt.
