There is some interior.stuff I'd like to do but can't justify it to myself to spend the money on that when the performance side of my car screams potential

Same here. I want the embroidered headrests and the embroidered rugs with a deckmat, but that's over the price of a throttle body and a good chunk of a catback. I didn't even put that stuff on my birthday list lol.

I hear ya. I have seat covers on my leather seats though, to keep from sun damage. But I want a dvd player in my car, and a few other things. You know, I've seen those embroidered ss or z28 plaques made for leather seats for decently cheap. Just don't remember the website... Time to go hunting
If I find it I'll post a link or pm ya

Did you buy that car in Oklahoma? Last summer I passed a red camaro with a ram air hood daily on the interstate.

If you use the proper products, you don't need the seat covers. Just make sure your product has uv blockers in it and you'll be ok. Same for whatever you use on the dash.

I saw the carfax when I bought it in '10, it said I'm the second owner (not counting the dealership) but it originally came from california. I got a decent deal till I found out it had a new tranny and motor. About 50-60k now on em.

I'm gonna check out that uv protection cleaner then. No more ugly seat covers!

Yeah, protect those seats and the dash. My drivers seat is trashed, I wish it were cloth not "leather". I need a new headliner/sunvisors also. The dash, tho, is still great, as is the OE 10 bolt.
