    Weind VS LS6 Intake

I am thinking about changing over from my Weiand LS1 intake to a LS6 intake and was wondering if I would be gaining anything or if I would even notice the changeover

The LS6 intake generally shows 10-12 RWHP gains over an LS1 intake, its all in the upper RPMs though. The Weiand also weighs considerably more than the composite LS6 intake, so its definitely a good move to swap out for the LS6.

the big think with the alum intakes is heat soke.... with the ls6 u probly wont know what that is but swich out and find out... the only reason u would need to go to an alun intake is for no2 or procharger ect. and even with that as long as u stay under 6 psi then u have zero issues

Yep, The get hot & stay hot... They do flow great though, but I still just sold my Weiand & went with the 90mm LS2 w/ a FAST 90mm TB.

Heatsoak has been beaten to death, I still havent seen any hardcore facts yet. But I was agree with these guys better to play it safe and stick with the composite ones. Cant wait til i save up enough cash to go with the fast setup.

Just curious how much u asking for the weiand, would there be much of a benefit from upgrading from the ls1 intake to the weiand. I know heatsoak etc...
