    as far as i know this new intake is for the ls3 style heads. so you would need those off the bat. but if your pretty much stock. the Ls6 intake is that way to go, unless you plan on going crazy later, then the FAST 92MM or maybe this new one would be right

    32 hp and 31 ft lbs over factory ls6 intake. Must use ls2 style throttle body. For GM ls1/ls2/ls6/lsx engines. Thats from the summit catalog i just got. Its 649.95.

    But I thought the LS2 had different style intake ports? But i could be wrong. For the price and performance i would buy this thing.

    Only thing I bought from SLP was the grille that came on SS's that did not need the front license plate. I am happy with that ONE AND ONLY purchase. Would do it again in a heart beat

    wow 13 flywheel increase with the fast 102mm..no thanks for the price..it goes to show you that the boys in GM have really been perfecting the poly composite oem intake.....and to answer the question about the ls3 heads/intake on a ls1..cant do it on a stock ls1..ls3's need a 4.00 bore or larger..ls1's are 3.9X ..and on top of that..talking about the lack luster numbers for the fast...the ls3 heads are a work of art..and i would say they are the best gm heads ever..so there isnt much to improve on the ls3 until you get heavy modding

    LS2 heads have the same castings as LS6 heads.. cathedral ports..!! just different valve train..

    hey Dr.Crash thanks for posting the info of that fast intake....but im really underimpressed with the numbers on that fast intake...i know it costs money to go fast (no pun intended) but 900 or so dollars for 13 hp???? and to top it off ive got the ls1 so im ass out even if i could afford that fast intake....i sure wish that weiend intake would hit the market.....

    i just checked out the summit site...looks like 6/15 for the intake to arrive...dont know if its for sure since i havent talked to the sales guy....heres hoping it comes soon cause i definitly want one

    ive seen the date change three times now i wish it would come out i have the 92/92 set up and i would see if it did the same or better for shits and gigs
