Water Pump Gasket for my 98 SS
I'm getting ready to swap heads on my car and was curious if I could use the 99 and up metal gaskets for the water pump instead of the paper gaskets that the 98 calls for. I would imagine the new metal gaskets would work better but I could always be wrong. I've searched and couldn't find a positive answer so let me know if it's ok to switch them.

Yes. The old gasket has been replaced by the metal gasket (old part number is obsolete). I put the metal gaskets in two years ago and they have worked great.
