water pump

how aptd is a ls1 water pump to go out, im doing a intake swap on my 5.3 and in order to put a ls6 intake on i have to swap the water pump. instead of buying a new one, i have a ls1 with 60k miles on it from a police interceptor, the motor has been sitting for 2 years give or take some monthes. Would this pump be fine for my everyday driver or should i get a new one for safe measure? far as i know its pretty clean inside, maybe a little dust but it hasnt been turned over or spun since i owned it.

It should be fine! I would use it and not think twice.
