wanted...very agressive sound!

so hear it is new guy asking prob a redundent question. I have a 04 5.7 lt gto, and im looking to upgrade my mufflers. Their are lots of diff brands out their and i dont know what to go with. I want something aggressive loud and a low rumble when im at a stop. Any sugestions im thinking dynomax?

i run the magna pack 5 or 6 inch. you really need headers and a cat back by magnaflow with these mufflers. it will sound great.

I run headers ory and LM1 and my car is loud as hell!!! I like it but not too many people do. There are a couple of people on here who can chime in how LOUD that setup is.

icic so one thing ive noticed is that alot of people on hear say they have a lm1. Ive never heard of that is that a brand of mufflers? If i just start off with a lm1 with out headers or a cat do you guys think it will sound ok? And what about hp is it a free flowing muffler?

Yeah, Spaz's LM1 was louder than my LTs with a cutout...was close, but the crowd determined his was louder

I have the same headers as he does!!! I keep telling him we need to rip up and down a few roads together and see how load we can get

I have SLP LM1 with LT's and ORY, it is loud and sounds mean. I love the sound and get lots of compliments in real life, but this forum doesn't seem to like that combo. The SLP LM1 sounds real nice without longtubes as well, it's a loud catback on its own Did you go on ls1sounds.com yet?

Needless to say...it got removed from the car VERY quickly.

Get Magnaflow. Not that loud (compared to others) but in my opinion it sounds the meanest and best.

If you see a Flowmaster, RUN away from it! They are WAY overrated, and don't sound good at all IMO. I regret buying mine.

I just put on my LT's & ORY ... and had to get rid of my Flowmaster. It sounded like fire crackers in a metal garbage can !! My Magnaflow now sounds wicked, mean & nasty. Its tame when I want it to be and a beast on WOT. However, on stock pipes ... and considering they do not flow as efficiently the Flowmaster sounded great and many people complimented me on the smooth rumble.

But no mistake .. if you are going to go with headers and other performance mods .. Magnaflow.

I have Hooker Super Comp Hearers, Borla Exhaust and a DMH Cutout...loud is can be and very nice with my cam

lol thanks for leting them know i have a gto squee! yeah im not looking to go all out on my exahust......yet just a simple muffler application i just want a lil more rumble than my stock mufflers.
