volant intake
who would vote for a volant intake over the slp flo pac intake kit? and who would vote for slp flo pac?

I don't have personal experience with either, but from what I've read a Volant will give you pretty much the same gains as a lid and ram air package (such as the FTRA) will.
I will be buying a Volant in the near future because I think it just makes the engine bay of the Firebirds look outright wicked.

I have not had any slp stuff as far as intakes go but I do have the volant cold air on mine and I was pretty impressed with it. I don't know how much hp gain was but I can definatley feel the differance in the 2500+ rpm range. They could have engineered it better though, I had to drll two holes into the air box and the core support and bolt the box down along with the supplied brackets for additional support to hold the radiator in it's stock location. i just put the volant on my car about a week ago, i didn't notice any difference, maybe a tiny bit at the lower rpm range. but it looks mean as shit when you pop the hood if anything

+1 for the Volant. I don't know if its any better for performance purposes, but its the best looking in my opinion!
