    hey i have a question. would it be a good idea to buy used headers? because this guy is trying to sell me his slp long tube headers for 300 bucks. is it worth the 300.

    Most people here will probably tell you no. SLP headers are not very popular here. They hang alot lower than most other brands, and are also more difficult to install. For $300, you can basically buy a new set of headers.

    Is it just the headers or does it come with the y pipe

    I would by them as long as the scratches weren't to deep on the bottom of the headers!

    yes but not in a bad way. The new ones/ones that have been recenly put on a car-it is safe to say you'll have to torque them down once a week for a few weeks before they don't move around anymore.

    To answer the original question, I would NOT pay $300 for SLP headers even if they were brand new. Look into some Pacesetters or anything else besides SLP headers.

    You can get new coated pacesetters for $300 ish. Y-pipe will not be included. The SLP headers have aweful ground clearance. The ones you get may be all beat up from scrapping the ground.

    well i have an slp y-pipewell i have to replace that one or well it work with pacesetters? i think ima go with the pacesetters. what are the best ones to get?
