un-smooth header face
I just got my Pacesetter Long-Tubes and im not happy. The header face isnt very smooth at all. There are some lumps and some small holes. has anyone else had this? Im going to put up pictures up really soon.

i cant get the paperclip attachment to load, or any pictures at all
i figured the headers shouldve been ectremely smooth...and theyre not. hopefully im just over reacting.
can anyone tell me how to put up pictures?

By face, do you mean on the flanges? If so, you could take them to a machine shop and they could sand down the flange so it will sit flush with the heads so they will be less chance of a leak.

yeah the flanges. im not going out of my way to fix something that should never have been there.

Where did you get them from? If you got them from some company, call them and ask them if you could exchange the ones you got for some new ones. With a 'defective' product, they should give you a new pair for no extra cost.

OK! so im not the only one thay really are that bad- such a disappointment, i was so happy when i came home today and saw them- send them back to TSP right? let them send it back to Pacesetter?

Thats a shitty coating of ceramic to. Tell them to check the new set their sendin you before they ship it.

That backs up why I want stainless and to pay a bit more.

Stainless can have machining defects too, unclean weld spots, and the like. He just got a bad set, I know its frustrating, but you can't judge the quality of a company or its products by one bad experience. My pacesetters were great, with a few minor imperfections, but nothing is perfect. Send them back and I'm sure if you want to try another set that those will be better.
