    Tune and CAI ?

    Hey Kids!..........getting a PCM Tune very soon...and in a few months after that..(when I get more $$$$)...I am gonna get a CAI (been paranoid about hydrolock or I would have already got it)......my ? is will the CAI throw my new tune off.....

    No it won't. What kind did you get the lt-1's have a nifty ram air that if fed from the top of the hood.

    They have kits that were from the factory, they were a square shape and hooked up to the top of the hood so the ram air holes you have could be functional.

    hey while I hnave you on the line here....have you hade any experience with running autolite 103 in lt1?.....just got a set and the guy at the shop told me it called for 106.....but I read somehwere 103.....

    ok different I used ngk tr-55's, remember its just a maintnance thing spark plugs won't gain hp over another brand.

    I'm asking if you know why a hotter plug would be better than a colder plug or vise/versa? the autolite 103 I got is colder than the fac recommended 106

    colder is better for higher compression, f/i, go with the factory recomended until you do things to the car the factory don't recommend
