It would effect me. I would know it. I am one that likes things done right, not butchered up to make it look right from the outside. But there again, everyone to each his own.

Nothing was butchered up. Just like having to sometimes bang on the inner wheel wells to fit 315's.
    Performance > couple hammer blows.

I went and talked to the guy thats doing it and he said he will try and pound it out of the way with some crude hammering, I gave him the go ahead because I don't see how else the muffler will fit.

Do you have the 6" Round Magnaflows as well??
did you get the 6in rounds to fit? i want to fit the largest magnaflows i can. was yours as tame at idle as you wanted it to be?

Yep, the exhaust shop was able to get the 6" to fit well by remolding the spare tire well so it doesn't stick out as far.

The 6" are very tame at idle, I'd actually prefer something louder after having them on the car. If I was to do it again, I would go with the 4" Magnaflows.

Do you have any pictures of the pipe layout and what they had to change on the spare tire area?
Over the next few weeks i'll be fabing up my own 2.5 duals.

Also i would love to hear some sound clips of your car if you have any.

    Thanks

This is the only pic I have that kind of shows it:

All they really had to do was pound back the sheetmetal that surrounds the spare tire well and reseal the pinch weld that runs along the bottom. Overall it came out well.

This is the only sound clip I have, its on the dyno though so the camera is kind of far away:
