A 2" drop is too much regardless what headers you use. Look at those with no drops, LT's and TD's. Right now we have our DMS Springs, TD's, and Kooks headers and the clearance is low but manageable (unlike many other setups). We tried making a TD setup that tucks up nicely. However there's only so much you can do (regardless of what springs you use or TD setup you come up with). By the way, ours is a 3" setup.

Now, that's something that would interest me. I'd like to install something like that exiting in the stock location. Can you post pics once you've fabricated it?

Sure thing. It will be a couple weeks as we're finishing up custom tuning the Project SS as well as finalizing our new stainless steel '05 Mustang Catback system.

Yes. Over the axle setups are quite expensive. That is why you don't see companies having them done as a mass produced product. People don't want to spend $800+ for an exhaust system.

i have true dual exhaust on my LS1 and i love how it sounds...i bought it that way though along with some G2 sport package stuff but its got cats on it and thats it...meets the standards for the noise and once she gets warmed up it sounds pretty mean...its not crackly like a lot of TAs and Camaros that i know of that have exhuast work done..if ya got the money its worth it...in my case the exhuast runs over the axle
