tranny dip stick hard to get out

Does anyone have this problem ? Dip stick is an sob to get out. Is ther some trick to unlock it ? I have to get some pliers a hold of it to get it out. Once I get it started it comes out easy. Also should the stick be flat all the way down or have a twist in it toward the base ?

I have this same problem. Just hit it with a small amount of wd-40 and it'll come right out. Mines been a pain to get out since day one. Now I don't even try it without hitting it with wd40 first.

It's been a while since I had it out but I'm 99.99999999% sure that it twists also.

They have always been difficult to remove. Its possible that the tube is putting it in a bind and might need to be moved around some. That has helped me a few times in the past to get the dipstick out easier.

I think it has a twist in it, but I am not 100% positive on that.
