^^ I have felt the same way since joining the site. Lots of good people and great information on here. Glad you got it all figured out.

    Afterthoughts....

Now that that's over, any advice on getting the spark plug wires in snugly? I have a hard time getting a good angle when I reach through all the "stuff" above the plugs/wires. I can't get a good grip without dropping the wire (this is reaching in through the top). For now, I have a set of ramps that I use to raise the car when I want to get underneath it. Is it best to go in from the bottom?

Remove the coil packs -- makes it a lot easier. Number 8 from under the car was much better than from above.

Undo the emission tubes and pull them back out of the way.

    This if still stock.

My advice is to get LT's with egr delete if you can. You will still need to go from the bottom to get #8

I've tried with both hands... left is an easier fit, but I'm a righty...

I like putting a dab of dielectric grease in the boot and snap it on one of the old plugs, spin it around to lube the inside of the boot up, then when you go to snap it on the new plug the boot isn't resisting you as much and it makes it easier to feel the wire click on the plug. The grease also helps prevent moisture from getting into the connection.
