Time to do the power steering pump....

So, I have an intermittent leak in my power steering...

Best guess is that the leak is at the seal... as I understand it, the whole thing has to come off in order to fix it, so I'm inclined to just upgrade (my usual approach to "fixing" stuff).

Looks like it'll be a Turn One pump, and the job looks simple enough to do (will still probably take me all day long, though).

But on the Turn One website, they no longer have the reservoir available; pump and pulley only.

Does anyone know if the stock reservoir will match up to the T-1 pump? Or if the quantity is appropriate, etc?

Not a clue, but you would think that the aftermarket pump should hook right up.

I emailed them. They said it will fit. As it turns out, it seems that the Turn One pump is a stock pump that is "re-built" to their own specs.

I've seen it only on a few cars. I've seen some that were home made as well. Lot of time ppl chuck 'em because it makes installing the alternator more of a PITA.

I'm looking to see if I can find one to show you an example.

Heck, I have no idea if our '02 has a shield or not. Have to look back at some pics.
