    Throttle Body Market

    So... at long last i bought myself a LS6 intake
    now i need a TB... what should i get? or should i just PnP my stocker?
    i dont want to have to mess with ordering a new throttle cable (as i wouldve had to when i bought an 01 PnP TB)
    so i need one that can enable me to use my same linkage cable
    suggestions? thanks

    Buy a stock p&p from eBay.. $50 or so and keep your stock to tb.
    It's worth it I had it in both of mi ls1 cars would buy it again if I beed to.

    I would buy an aftermarket unless I have the fast intake.


    Ls1/6 intake works great with stock p&p tb..
    00 ss blk m6 " STOCK" strano springs, slp bilstein shocks, adj LCA, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, 2 point SFCs welded,OEM zo6 rims black, magnaflow exhaust, CME exhaust,E/cutout, slp grille, custom front plate mount, HIDs, whistler mod, side moldings delete, slp air lid, ported and polished TB, strut tower brace, 3.73s gears, and some other parts to list!
    next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..

    For what it's worth, my throttle body is the most noticeable mod I've done since I got my car (a little more impact than my SFCs, it seems).

    If your stock why bother?

    Bolt it on and take the 20 HP and be happy,thats what I am going to do.

    If you ever do H/C you can get $300 back towards a new Fast intake by selling it.

    i couldnt find photoz but I found some for about the same price. I was thinking on giving this pnp a try myself. The only thing Im not sure on how to do is the bump stop mod since my scanner dont read the value of the tps. Can I use a voltmeter? and how much does the voltage has to read?

    If not then I will buy a pnp TB

    cool thanks. i just dont like the fact that he want $27 bucks for shipping and he is from FL. I know it fits in a large flat rate box and its only $15
