    Throttle Body

What brand and/or size of throttle body should I get, or should I wait to get an aftermarket manifold? The only mods I have is a slp lid and hooker catback.

i would keep the stock one, look into getting it ported and polished. Porting will net you some hp gains and its cheaper than a new throttle body

Not hard, just a matter of putting in the time to do it. Or find someone who can do it well and for a price that is much less than you can earn in the time it takes to do it yourself.

This guy does excellent work and at a price much less than it would cost me in lost time.

If you want to set it on your desk get polished, satin is fine and cheaper and no performance difference since it is still very smooth.

I concur...with your mods, simply port the stock TB and hopefully you'll pick up a couple rwhp. If you decide to go with heads and a cam in the future, it will then be worthwhile to go with a bigger TB (as well as intake).

porting removes the ridge infront of the tb blade, so its 75mm all the way threw.

some people will bore it out to 78mm, but then they have to weld the bottom of it because it puts a large hole in the bottom
