is there much of a difference?
So a friend of mine has a set of Hooker headers part no. 2254 HKR. the site says they are a mid length header...is there really all that much difference between the mid length and long tube headers? cuz he is giving me a hell of a deal, but i kinda wanted long tubes before he gave me this deal

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
There isn't much difference between mids and long tubes if your motor is stock internally. Once you cam it though, there is a big difference between the gains you would net from cam/mids versus cam/longtubes.
