    Texas Speed Performance (TSP) Headers??

Anybody have any info on these headers? They look good. 1 7/8 primarys, 3 inch collectors, and coated all for around $500 on ebay. I would like to know if those measurments are OD or ID and how the ground clearance is. I cant spend over $600 but I need to get rid of these Edlbrock shorties.

I am guessing they are LTs,
Why not go with pacesetter ceramic, a little bit cheaper and will sound great

because pacesetters are junk. i have heard people having fitment problems, having to notch the k member and grind casting tabs of the back of the block. they flow well and make some decent power

mine fit perfectly...the only thing I had to do was jack the engine up a quarter of an inch to slip the driver's side in.

I just want max HP and TQ and need an easy install. The primarys are the same as Kooks but for half the price! Thats why I am asking. I only want to do this once...I have 440 RWHP, I want to get the best set of LT's possible for under $600. I have no problem going with Pacesetters. I dont care about sound, I am looking for performance. I believe the 1 7/8" primaries will give me better performance than the 1 3/4" that the pacesetters have.

well a great option for you and your setup would be the edelbrock stepped headers, they have 1 3/4 primary's stepped to 1 7/8 with 3.5" collectors, ive seen these headers make 8 rwhp over pacesetters in person. i have these headers and they are a great compromise. good price and will significantly improve exhaust velocity and scavenging, not to mention those huge 3.5 collectors lol, they are some bad ass headers

Problem with the TSPs is they'll rust. If you want the 1 7/8 then go for it but could prolly get some stainless 1 3/4 for the same price.

Hes trying to say the 1 7/8 headers are going to outflow the 1 3/4 headers. With the HP numbers he has im guessing hes going to make atleast 5+rwhp with going 1 7/8 over the 1 3/4 with his HP numbers. I have heard the TSP's headers are pretty good, and not many fitment issues, fits perfect witht there true dual system. I was looking at purchasing a set for myself because of the price and there 1 7/8 and the modding bug never gos away so its better to do it right the first time with going 1 7/8 over 1 3/4

I was going to go with them. Now, I am only looking for stainless steel headers. I dont want to have to replace my headers 5 years from now. Nevertheless, the rest of my exhaust is stainless. It looks like hooker or QTP. QTP is $702.00. Hooker is $575.00. Both stainless and I hear good things about both.

I believe Edelbrock makes a 1 7/8th stainless header also.
