Tell me this is not true
I read a post on ls1tech.com that the typhoon intake produces 17.7 more horses than the ls6 intake manifold at 6700 rpm. Does'nt the typhoon suffer from "heat soak" since it is aluminum? just trying to get the better of the two. here is the link

17 hp @ 6700 rpm, i dont know about you but i dont think many of us run in that rpm range. up to 6000 rpm the difference is negligible. i'll still take the cheap ol ls6 for now.

heat soak isnt as big of an issue as some make it out to be.
personally i would stay away from that intake. people have had nothing but problems with it.2000 nhra edition formula

Did you read the whole thread? It's been like a year and people are still having problems with them. I'd steer clear if I were you.
