Swapping Intakes?
My sis has an 02 Camaro and i have a 99 TA, well she is trading it and i was wanting the ls6 intake off of hers and was going to put my ls1 intake on her car. Im deleting my egr so im not worried about that, my ? is if i can swap our coolant tubes also so that the ls6 coolant tubes would be on my car and the ls1 tubes on her car, you get the idea. Any help/ideas appreciated. Thanks

Believe the coolant pipe/plugs are interchangeable. The LS1 intake will need to be sealed at the EGR opening with an expansion plug and stick out to a potential buyer of her car.

Hopefully whoever ultimately buys the car will bring someone knowledgeable about F-bodies with them. If I knew nothing about Camaro's, bought an 02 that supposedly came with the LS6 intake, and didn't find out about the swap until later I'd be upset.

I think she is going to trade it in at the dealership i work at so there wont be any issues with a salesman noticing it because they are all idiots. Plus they never even open the hood of the car, every used car that comes through gets a thorough inspection by me or another tech. If they do notice it while i am inspecting it then i well just order another ls6 intake to go on it and charge it to the used car department.
