Sugestions
Well as i look towards putting the camaro away for the winter i have a grand plan for the work i want to do and first is headers and y pipe....i have to have cats to pass inspection and im looking at around 1400 to spend. is this reachable...also i have no clue what brand to go with HELP PLEASE!!!!

Shorty headers will allow you to keep the cat's in the same position, but you won't see a big gain in power with them.

I just read a post from a guy in NY who says the state recently went to a pcm scan only test-no sniffer.If thats true you can go full lenth headers with or without cats as long as the computer is tuned to fib to the emissions computer(or o2 sims are installed).
So I would try and verify this before you make any changes,then have fun modding but try to save parts just in case you have to demod-who knows maybe the feds will dictate stronger tests the state will have to do.Don't forget, if you can't pass you've got one GIANT paperweight LOL!
