straight pipes
i have a 2000 T/A and was thinking about puting staight pipes on it this spring until i can afford a full system. will it sound like complete sh** if i just cut the muffler out and replace it with pipe? or is there a right and wrong way to do it? thanks

Do you have headers installed? If you still have the stock manifolds don't bother cutting anything, and if you have headers it will be way to loud wait for the money.

you can cut just before the axle if you want, but might as well only pay the muffler guy once right?

Been there done that, tried it between mufflers just to hear it.....pure ass, without headers. Now open headers...that's a little different hehehe Me and Y2KPewter did that, it reeked of awesome.
