they suck for LS1s. you can always tell on craigslist who doesn't know shit about their camaro/ firebird when in the description it says something along the lines of "car runs real strong cuz I gots that flowmaster catback"

Lol not all flowmasters suck. I can't remember what series is the noturiously shitty one...I think it is either the 40 series or the 80 series

Well now that we have 3G here. I checked out a bunch of
Youtube videos. Im not a fan of the magnaflows with ARH Lts and ORY.
Very raspy and not what i am looking for. The flowmaster 80 series sounds great IMO on this video. Ill try to find it again. But idk...soo many options.
I just need a good combo with the ARH 1-7/8 LTs and Catted Y-Pipe

Congrats on 3g ...I'm sorry the magnaflow doesn't fit your needs. To tell you the truth..the muffler doesn't really matter when u are talking about performance. Most of the gain comes from the larger pipe. The flowmasters sound good.

I have flowmaster and I love it. No rasp and very deep and aggressive. Like shady said it's the larger pipes that make a difference. I hate when people say things suck when they don't know anything about it, or probably never used it. Everybody has there own opinion about sound but performance wise the flowmaster works fine

I had the FLowmaster 80 series on my car and it sounded weak as shit. Lt1s and Stangs sounds good with em tho.

Had flowmaster 80 series and they are barely better than the stock exhaust. I hate it so much but once I finish the install i'll have true duals with OBX headers. For the OP I would get duals with some nice stainless steel headers

I agree, and most people who rag on flowmaster don't realize they come in many different levels of loudness. Mine is so loud I have to lift the hood to prove I don't have long tube headers, lol

Aftermarket MAFs lean out your vehicle. That is something you DONT want.

Stock MAF is good for up to around 500HP. Don't touch your MAF. Don't descreen or anything, Leave it be unless you like causing yourself headache.
