    THE WS6 THAT COULD

Still Close To Stock, Whats Next?

Well i bought my 2000 WS6 about a month ago with 37k on it it now has about 39k and im still near stock, the car came with an exhaust system that i could not figure out what it was, i posted pics on here and some guys on here said its the slp dual dual, well i have that and a SLP Air Lid so i am basically stock, I am now wanting my car to be louder and have more power. I want to purchase some pacesetter headers, what all do i need to go along with these for them to work.

Do they come with Y pipe and gasket? you will also need O2 extensions or O2sims. you should see good gains from the headers too.

you can reuse your gaskets and bolts but some people dont recommend it.. mine where reused without issue.
is it an ORY pipe or does it have cats?

ok thats the ORY.. umm you will need either sims or to go to a local tuning shop and have yoru rear O2s deleted in order to not spark a SES light constantly

no.. you will just have an SES light and I belive you will run a little richer because your car will try and compensate but no damage..

and yes everything should just bolt right up

I'd do Pacsetter headers, Texas Speed True duals, and most importantly, a stall if you are an auto. Once it;s all buttoned up, have it tuned and have fun.

Personally, after having "been there and done that" I would do a stall first. I have both mods and did headers first but hind sight being 20/20 a stall is the best mod you can do to an auto. It'll be like a different car.
I haven't been through an e-check in 20 years but don't they do a visual? Might have issues with the no cats thing unless you know someone that'll pass you.
To get the most out of the car with either mod a tune would be a nice thing to plan for. If there's no one local that can tune it for you then start reading now and learn to do it yourself, that's how I done it.
Where at in Missouri are you? I grew up in the bootheel.

i run a 3200 and mine is a DD. very good stall for street/strip cars. go to fuddleracing.com and talk to them. They will custom build you a stall or reccomend one for whatever application you want

    What he said.
I currently have a fuddle convertor and have had zero issues with it. John at Fuddle is a great guy to deal with. I run a 3500 in mine and could see running that in a daily driver although mine isn't.

BTW.. the converter will come with a lockup clutch in it so you wont even notice a difference on those road trips. once you are on the highway it will drive just like stock.
