starter motor swap to left
I'm build a little small car with a ls1 and have a few little problems. Is their anyway of swapping the starter to the left side without using a sandwich plate between engine and block.

don't know if you could get a machine shop to drill and tap mounting holes into the block, but you might have fitment problems with the oil filter.
I never really looked but this weekend I'll stick my head under there when I get my car up in the air.
what for car are you dropping the ls1 down in?.....i live for odd projects like this
