iridium plugs are definitely worth the money, since they not only run great (got mine for a year now), they also last longer. usually 100k miles no problem.

Just changed my plugs and wires today. The farthest one back on passenger side made me want to punch a hole in the block. Could not reach the bolt on the coil rack that was the farthest back. I disconnected the exhaust tube thing that goes around to the other side wich made it a little easier. If you could disconnect the air conditioning it would be a piece of cake. I ended up enlisting the help of a ten year old in the end, small hands reached it no problem. I tried several universal joints, but they were so tight in there, I was worried with those joints and the twisting my porcelain would break. Oh, and thanks for telling me bosch plugs are crap AFTER I just installed them.

    Four hours wasted...

    No you didn't

The plugs will be fine and you learned the procedure. If you go to nitrous or other means of induction you can change them out.

    Yip

I changed out mine when I did headers and suspect they were a lot easier, particularly the rear. Stiill pretty tight but was better able to gauge the angle of the plug for install and that made a difference.

I got lucky the place that i went to was going to charge me $260 but then i started talking to the guy and he ended up being one of my uncle's friends from high school. He ended up charging me $150.
