Entirely up to you. Iridiums are a bit more pricey but are a nice plug. Lots of guys on here are running NGK TR55's. Only thing to stay away from are the gimmick plugs like E3's and such.

I run iridiums in mine. That's what they call for, and since it's a PITA to change them, not having to do it for another another few years in nice.

Just for that... you have to install a set in your car. Let us know how the extra 100 hp feels.

Some are OK (if you know what you're doing and have the proper tools). OTOH. there are at least 2 that are a stone cold bitch. You might notice that half the engine is under the cowl...

You've got plenty of practice though...

    Thankfully I was drunk....
Well....at least by the time I got to #6 and #8.

    Let me say this...
A 1.75" long extension is a GODSENT for that job. Remove coilpacks (I even take off the valvecover on the passenger side since it takes a minute extra and gives my hands a little more room).

As stated, remove the coil packs -- it only takes a few minutes on each side. Worst part is the very back bolt on the passenger side. But, before you do any of that, pop the cowl seal pins up with a flat blade screwdriver. They have made me bleed more than once when wrenching on our car. No. 8 is actually easy from underneath the car, unless you have LT's. Be sure to use anti-seize on the plug threads and only torque them to 11 lb.ft.

yup they are good plugs..i made the decision to run them just because i was doing headers and such and to replace them is soo cheap.

I already had the intake manifold off when I replaced my spark plugs. I definitely gave me more room to lean in and maneuver around. Certainly not a requirement but something to consider.

Imho,, time,,, if you want to waste it on installing cheap plugs, it's up to you. I run iridiums (factory gap the plugs come set @) in everthing and never had a problem. I pulled a set out of my car with 50k+ on the plugs and the electrode points were slightly worn but still intact, no odd discoloration, I run 93 octane..

This sounds like more work than it would be worth....for the basic wrench wielding weekend modder.
Intake normally takes a while for someone that hasn't done it.
