Spark Plug Wires Won't Come OFF!!! HELP!

Right now I'm doing LT Headers and Poly Motor mounts and I've just got started pretty much. I'm at the Coil Pack stage. I unbolted all bolts from the coil pack and now I have to sit them down some where. Well I would, but my spark plug wires are sucked tight to the freakin spark plug. Do they have vacuum in them or something?? The real question is: HOW IN THE WORLD DO I GET THEM OFF???

This is why you always, always put a dab of dielectric grease in the boots before installation. Anyway, your best bet is a boot puller but you won't be able to get it on all of them. You can use pliers and other destructive methods of removal as well if you are replacing them. Just put some gloves on or you will be bleeding.

Apparently they didn't put much of any on my car when it was in the factory getting put together... I will try pliers tomorrow morning defiantly. I will get a wire puller later in the day if the pliers don't get all of them out. Thanks man!

try to twist them also. If you can get them to spin a little bit, that will help loosen them up. But when they're stuck, it really sucks. Happens a lot. Try pliers, prying, twisting. Wear some mechanics gloves so you can really rip and tear without worrying about cutting your hands if they slip free just like PaJeff said

If all else fails you can cut the boots with a (new blade) utillity knife or razor knife. Cut them long ways then yank them out/off..

You aint havin fun if ya aint bleeding..lol

Oh yeah sorry about that guys. I got them off yesterday. I finished my full install today except motor mounts cause I couldn't work on my car tomorrow and I wouldn't be able to drive anything then. Luckily no Y pipe banging. THANKS GUYS!
