yes they are almost the same, but they are not made by SSAC/XS
Just letting anyone who is still subscribed to this thread know what the real deal with these headers is. Like the seller says, they are almost the same....My guess is that they are the same, but the seller can't give out their name without being charged $$$ or someone copied them. Still look like a good deal though, especially since they are almost the same.

Well we will find out soon(I Hope)
Even if they are copies they should flow better than stock manifolds.

I have the XS ones on my car. I made a pie cut on the collect to angle that side down a couple of degrees and now they fit great. The only other problem I had was the bolt hole alignment was slighty off. Nothing a drill bit couldnt fix though.

I have the XS headers on my LS1 TA and I am satisfied with the fit and quality. I look at my friends Z with ceramic coated Pacesetters, and the ceramic coating is chipping off and rusting. I'm glad I spent less and got stainless steel.98 Trans Am, A4, 3.73, 3200 Vigilante, LCA's, reloc brackets, sfc's, panhard bar, adjustable torque arm, XS long tube headers, ORY, SLP CNC ported heads and all the free mods tuned with EFILive.

I just put on some used XS Stainless headers and they fit great. They use the T321 stainless which is better than the T304 or T409. But I noticed those headers on Ebay and they probably are a good deal vs coated headers that will rust.

Well here is a little update.
As of monday my headers have been lost at the Mesquite,Tx. hub of UPS
I have started a claim with them and I have to wait 1-8 days for them to try and locate the package.
I have really started to hate UPS lately
Well I think I may just order a new set on Tommorow and get some kinda priority shipping so I can get these things installed.
If they ever find my set I will send them back or sell em.
Wish me luck

whew I finally got a set of these headers.
I ordered another set after UPS lost my first set.
They arrived today woth the box all ripped up and one of the gaskets hanging out of the box.
They look nice and have a real heavy flange and they feel real solid. Not as thin as I had expected with the price.
I am going to do an install tommorow or the next day and get back to yall with some more info but wanted to let you know some intiall findings.
The fit will be the real test as will the dyno pull.
see yall soon.

IMO, if they are NOT Kook's, I hate to give opinions, because they are always NEGATIVE. I really do NOT like CHEAP anything.2002 Sunset Orange TransAm 6 spd.

I dont care about cast but more about performance.I know the 2 usually go hand in hand but I dont have 7-800 to invest in the headers alone.
I am only going to provide an unbiased opinion from myself and the perf shop that has installed many kooks/gibson headers as well as pacesetter and the like.I will post up some pics soon and prolly gonna start the instal in the morning if I can get some rest tonight.
