so the ebay headers?

This is a discussion on so the ebay headers? within the External Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; well sinceim on budget i will go with ebay headers any suggestions on witch ones since ive been asking? also ...

    also i wan a y pipe what are some suggestions ory or not? if so why?

    and finally the exhaust i want borla? any good comments on the borlas with the adjustable plate...any recommendations?

    im still doing alot of research before i buy i dnt wana spend money then not like it so what all is involved if i get an ory? i know its not a catted y...witch means i will not pass emissions without 20 bucks on the side..i have seen 02 extentions and what not can someone explain some of this stuff?? would greatly apreciate it im a newby to the mods...

    I've got that exhaust, it was on the car when I bought it. It sounds damn sweet if you ask me and the adjustable plate with an e-cutout is a nice toy but I don't know if I'd have dropped the bucks on it if I'd had to.

    I'm actually looking at e-cutouts now I'm thinking with headers and an offroad-Y I'm going to want to be able to send it all through the muffler usually, but you know you want to be able to make it bark on the street too.

    You're going to need O2 extensions or corvette rear O2s in order to acommadate your headers, not your Y pipe or cat back, so You'll need them if you got Catless or not.

    understood yea e cutouts are nice to mess with people haha then u see a cop time to plug it up LOL

    so what you are saying even though you get the rear o2 deleted with a tune you still need extensions for the front two when you get lt??

    Exactly.

    The bungs are quite a bit further away from the stock location.

    With my old SLP longtubes I needed one of each (12 and 24).
    Granted, those are complete shit and hang at least an inch lower than any other longtube.

    I now use the C5 rear O2's from GM. More accurate of an O2, along with the longer wires.
