    Smog/EGR removal plugs....

I have a '99 Z28 LS1 with all of this crap installed. My state doesn't require it and the motor is going in a little hot rod. I seen on ebay "egr block off kits" that includes 4 different plugs...which is one for the manifold and three for the stock exhaust manifolds...

Depends on what headers you purchase -- make sure they are "non-emission" and you will not need the block off plates.

Yeah, the headers i purchased was non-emisions except the collector attachment has the bungs for the o2 sensors pre-welded. I thought i was on the right track... just needed some experience"been there, done that" advise.

Are you switching over to a carb or running fuel injection?

I have a TPI 350 from A 1990 firebird/Camaro so I already have the fuel system and a few other needed mods. I am sticking with the fuel injection for the dependability and no one around me does fuel injection swaps. It's not going to be a every weekend at he strip, but more of a cruiser to go to shows and destroy someone at a redlight.
Throw in the stock 310 hp and after a year or so rebuild it for around 400hp. I think that would be sufficient in a little s10 pickup.

One more question, with the EGR do I need a plug for the back of the block where the valve is bolted up? Or is it just bolted to with no internal function to the engine?

for the intake you can also use a 1 3/8" expandable freeze out plug. Fits perfect. I ran one on mine before I got an LS6 intake.
