SLP smooth bellow
just wondering if the smooth bellow actually makes a difference. i installed the SLP lid/ K&N filter and noticed nothing. i just ordered the SLP smooth bellow to try it. everyone tells me that you can notice a difference with both. the lid didnt do anything. i really dont think this will either, but i guess it looks better than the stocker if nothing else

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
SLP bellow is WAY overpriced.
Same thing at Home Depot for $6.
And the smooth bellow is NOTHING more than an appearance mod. No performance.
STAY AWAY FROM SLP FROM NOW ON!!!2008 Trailblazer SS

It is an adjunct mod, everything has a synergistic effect. It helps if you do other little things as well.

I got it for $25 shipped so still cheaper than driving to Home Depot from where I live. No way I would have paid 65-85 for it.

i had one. it made a BIG difference: it made my lid next to impossible to mount straight but no difference in performance
i traded it straight up to a guy with an SS for his stock bellows. been runnin the stocker happily ever since. dont waste ur money dude

i didnt notice a difference when i got my lid, i did the "ram air mod" if you've ever heard of that. basicly cutting some plastic crap from my air box to make it flow better. i didnt even notice to much of a difference after that either.

Most people will not feel a 10RWHP gain.
The dyno and track will show the gains though.

I have the SLP smooth bellows and am going to re-install the stock one....the smooth one makes it more difficult to change the air filter. I've noticed very little performance increase - probably more from the air box & "remove the plastic" mods than anything. I wasted my $$$ on the smooth bellows.

its all bullshit, your not going to notice a difference on the track or dyno with a smooth bellow
