SLP LS6 High Performance Intake Manifold

Didn't see a thread on this unless I didn't search good enough. Anyone got the SLP LS6 High Performance Intake Manifold? If so, any real noticeable difference from it?

Small mod I'm thinking of doing along with headers.

Its just a LS6 intake with EGR provisions. I wouldn't get it. I'd just get the standard LS6. Big improvement over stock as well.

I have the ls6 intake installed on my 2000 trans am and I noticed a huge difference!! especially in the higher rpm ranges, i believe that the slp does have the egr thing but your really just paying for the name.
2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust, shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

Just get a used LS6 intake and the correct coolant crossover lines. The SLP is BS. I would get a standard one and just get rid of the EGR and have the codes deleted. Your gonna need a tune anyway, so there no reason not to. While I was at it, I'd also get rid of the AIR and the cats.

Yeah, the cats will def be gone with the headers I'm going to get. I'll wait for a tune til I get both the intake mani and headers on. If I do away with the EGR, it won't pass emissions though right?

It will if you get the codes deleted. It might not pass a visual, if they REALLY know there shit, but since 01 and 02 cars didn't have EGR, it should be a problem. They don't even do a visual or sniffer 99.9% of the time if the car has OBDII.

Well, I've got a friend who does all my heavy work and emissions so, I"m sure he will pass it for the required amount of alcohol.
