yea I run a LM2 on my 97 with longtubes and no cats and it is too raspy. It sounds great with stock manifolds and cats but now I'm looking at ways to quiet it but that may mean replacing it.

If your looking just to replace your catback the LM1 has a loud deep tone, for just a catback.
but LM1 with headers and no cats will sound like crap(like luos sound clip)
like everybody else said, true duals will give you the loudness and power that you want
