Unhappy SLP or BBK or Performance Products Intake

I am looking to install a different intake manifold on my sons 2002 Z28 and would like some suggestions. I have read alot of different articles and to be honest I have NO clue which one to buy and install. If possible can you please provide me me with the Pro;s and Con's of each manifold.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Since its a 2002, you already have the ls6 intake. The only real upgrade is to a F.A.S.T intake. Which is over kill unless you doing some major mods.

This. You yr came with the LS6 intake.

List any bolt on's/mods that you have.

If your wanting to do some bolt on's for performance/power:

SFC's are always recommended 1st for our cars. Build a solid suspension. You can go wrong doing this step first.

Our cars have some quirks that should be addressed before getting the mod bug.

Passenger window fix, pcv mod (LS6 VCT mod), do/fix any routine maintenance items first like if you have a M6 and 70k miles I'd be thinking of replace/upgrade the clutch very soon. Examples like that

These are free or almost free:
free air mod & TB coolant by pass mod

There's more but without know what you currently have or what your build plans are this could be a very long post.

    Upgrades in progress.

We have installed a SLP loud mouth exhaust, SLP flow pac. Just ordered Pacesetter long tube headers with a TSP catted y-pipe. Also we are looking at installing a Comp Cam with new valve springs and retainers. Our goal is get about 400+ hp out of our mods.

    Is this possible?

Suspension Upgrades include new Spohn 25mm rear and a 32mm front spoiler. Ordered Spohn lower control arms, panhard bar, torque arm and SLP springs. Tires and wheels are 18x8.5 with 245 40 18 up front and 18x10.5 with 285 35 18 in the rear.

    Is these suspensions uprades adequate?

Now the real concern is the weak 7.65 10 bolt rear and the clutch upgrade!

    1 - nice!! and yes
2 - Again Yes, except the SLP springs, Stranos are far better
3 - If you have a M6 - get a 9", A4 - get a 12 bolt. Clutch's - LS7 Clutch kit is a great upgrade and can handle up to 550 HP, SPEC and Monster are more for heavy track use. If you upgrade the clutch don't forget to get another OEM Slave.
