    Side exit exaust?

Has anyone seen an 4th gen with side exit exaust?
I am thinking of trying it out and running it out right behind the doors and doing some metal work to make it all clean and neat.
I really like it on the viper/shelby's but never seen it on f-body.
I wonder if a h-pipe would be sufficiant due to the fact an x-pipe would have some serious bends to make the turn.
I dont need opinions such as "rice" or or other smartass comment that dont help, but if you dont like the idea thats fine ,you can voice your opinion, just say why you dont like it or why you think it wont work.
Thanks for any help and input.

i have not seen side exit. i guess you could go with true duals but instead of dumps like most people just have them bend out?

i've seen it done...a user awhile back did it..it was alright...it was rough..he said he was going to clean it up...i like the idea..but you'll deffinatly need to cut into the bottom body work and another thing to think about is insulation. the vipers are known for burning your leg if your not careful..they also installed insulation around the path the exhaust would take to help prevent the molding from melting..just things to think about.,..if your going to do it..make sure you have nice tips and metal work around the molding to make it look nice...just get ready for some hot feet and legs..and fumes.

I dont know if they would be able to run down the door all the way or just exit behind the door?
I gutted my cats today and did some studying while down there.
It will deffinantly be a chore but rare at the same time(either do to work or taste)

Get ready for some tickets is all I have to say. I have a friend running DR.Gas/NASCAR side exausts and they are earsplitting loud if you pull up beside him. There isn't gonna be a policeman within 2 miles that won't hear you coming.

I think I may do this on my car.
No fabrication needed in this setup and it looks clean to me.http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showpo...87&postcount=1

I seen a SCCA trans am with it, but they just went right under the body with NO guard at all. Any bump and it would pinch flat. And it looked silly.

I think I will it will cost a tad more than a y-pipe and I will just run an h-pipe for sync if needed
