Shortys on a 99
Is it worth my time and $$$ to put shortys on a 99 M6 with TDs with cats over the rear end with bullets. Will these limit my cam choices in the future?Or should I go Lts and dump the cats? Im not looking to build a drag car but I do plan on a cam and heads some day. I have read all the posts I can find they all pretty much favor the Lts over the shortys I get that. But are the gains from Lts worth the added $$$ money and hassel on a street car??

You already have a dual set up why not go LTs especially since you plan on doing heads and cam. Just make sure you get headers with decent clearance and most people seem to have no problem. You will definitely see more power.

If you're planning on doing H/C down the road, then you should definitely go with the LTs. Shorties don't flow much better than the stock manifolds so don't even bother with them. Just go straight to LTs and you'll be much happier.
