    Sell your old cats?

    Not felines.

Have any of you guys sold your old catalytic converters at a salvage place? If so, how much did you get for them?

Depends on where you take them, and what the prices of scrap cats are going for. A friend of mine who owns a garage offered me $60 a piece for mine. Now I just gotta get goin on installing my LT's and ORY..lol.

I sold mine for $72 at a local scrap shop. By law they had to take my photo, verify ownership of my car, and take a thumb print. Pretty big hassle for $72. Anyways, good luck on your LT install. I will pray for you, and hope you have a lift.

That has to rank up near the top as one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. Why don't they take a blood sample and your first born while they're at it. Sheeesh.

If they would have told me that on the phone before I got there I would not have done it. I had already waited fifteen minutes and they had already inspected the cats, then the fiasco started. Apparently there was a bad problem of cat theft. Cat-burglary.
