Why were they so tough to install? Mine were easy. Is it because they are the first generation type or what? They look identical to mine but, who knows?

im running Pace Setter Ceramic Headers through Hi flow cats out a true dual single chamber flow master. They all fit great! Haven't scraped anything in the couple of months that I have had them! No complaints what so ever!

Ok after all the fuss and frustration I ended up with a set of LPP's after all. The install shop which specializes in Firebird/Camaro's had to spend some time getting them to fit correctly (a little grinding, different hangers, etc.) but at the end of the day they are done. Install cost a small amount more but at the end of the day I got a deal on Stainless Headers and Y pipe. Everything is great with them and they look and sound super. I believe that inexpensive e-bay headers if you have a reputable f-body shop in your area that can do it may be a good option. Other than that can't go wrong with Pacesetters on the low end or Kooks, American Racing on the upper stainless end.

Yes, I'm very pleased with my LPPs as well. They sound awesome with the Magnaflow muffler and GMMG tips.
