sorry don't have a digital camera. i'll see if i can borrow one and get a pic for you.
i have the stock lid and breather assembly, which will soon be going.
the fernco coupling or maybe the brute force of the install cracked my stock lid again.
i attached the fernco to the MAF and left the MAF in the breather and lid attached, that gave me some leverage to get the coupling over the TB.

it might work better with an aftermarket lid. i'll keep you posted and try to get pics on stock and aftermarket lid installs of the fernco.

I tried...and tried....and tried to make it fit. I trimmed, and trimmed, and trimmed some more. It just never fit right.

Fernco seems to do just fine for me now. Hit or miss I suppose.
Ya, probably has alot to do with the type or brand of lid being used, original or aftermarket MAF etc....hard telling what people are doing with their cars and then complaining on a website about something not fitting right. So I don't take it to heart and I'm willing to try for myself.
It seems everything from various suppliers is made just a tad different,,,enough to mess things up sometimes.

Ya that's the problem I was having with the home depot mod. It was just too much of a bind, and I didn't care for that on something so brittle. I was getting pretty aggressive with it before I decided it was too risky.

Shucks we are just talking about cheap plastic parts here ya know??

it looks good to me. the end of the coupling that goes on the throttle body has a small wrinkle (1/2") around a gusset that sticks out of the TB.
as it heats and cools it will permanently bend to match the angle like the original bellows.
without showing you a picture the best advice i could offer is to go to home depot and see what they look like it you don't already know.
it doesn't look that much different installed.
