    1998 Trans am ws6

    question spark plugs help ?

    I recently replaced my spark plugs from Ac delco to Bosch 2 platinum left
    my wires . that only took 8 hr problem is my torque went down
    before in 2 gear if i floored it great acceleration and torque now it is more steady but slower not that throw you back in your seat feel ? . Is it plugs or wires or me . don't hear any noise ticking all wires are in correct

    Well, if it were me I would have changed the wires too. Are they original, and how many miles on the car?

    Other than that, I've read that our cars don't like the Bosch plugs, that could be your problem right there.

    ^^agreed bosch plugs dont get along with the ls1. i know it sounds like a pain the ass, but go with a different set of plugs and change the wires as well. also did you gap the plugs?

    they are original wires 74 k 98 trans am 6 speed

    no gap on the plugs

    pull 'em and check the gap on them. it should be .060. you can get the little sparg plug tool at walmart and all the auto stores for like $2

    I'd replace the wires too, the stockers are now 10 years old!

    A set of MSD wires will run you 55 or so from the WS6 Store, that's where I got mine.

    ok thanks guys i think i will pull the plugs and go with ACDelco Iridium Spark Plugs and change the wires what a pain

    OK i used ngk tr55 and crane wires works great / think some of my problem is that i have ben riding in my friends new corvette zo6 just a little faster then my car !
