    question about manifold????

if the manifold came off a 2000 ls1 corvette is this considered a ls6 manifold? also what kind of gain would that give my 2000 z28?

im not 100% on this but im saying no. actually yeah im saying no. the exhaust ports (i dont think were different between the ls1 and even the true ls6 even. as for a gain....nothing. dont deal with factory manifolds, there is a reason everyone runs some type of headers...they flow way better. longtubes will yield the most gains. try pacesetter or jet hot, kooks, or hooker, borla......anything will be better than a stock manifold.

i'm thinking he is talking about an intake manifold not an exhaust manifold.

And NO a 2000 corvette intake manifold is still a LS1 manifold. The LS6 started on all '01+ motors.

Are you meaning LS6 intake manifold? Check the PN, 97-00 Vette 12556333 is a LS1 manifold - w/o EGR provision and not flat on the bottom if I remember correctly.

i jus totally blacked out on this one. its probably because i was looking at borla exhaust on ebay and let my subconscious take over. wow.

anyway....you want an ls6 intake...unless you can get a fast intake for cheap
